Reviews and Ratings
Even though the rooms were outdated and could use a renovation, I managed to get a good night's sleep and took advantage of the gym to beat my jet lag. However, my room was a bit dark and felt humid with a small window, and it was in a separate wing from the main facilities in the old part of the hotel. The service was lacking, as they didn't seem to care much about non-movie star guests and I ended up paying unexpected extra charges due to hidden taxes. The location was convenient for exploring Rodeo Drive and the shopping center, but a car is necessary to fully experience Los Angeles. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially at Circa 55 for a great meal, and the facility had a balance of old school charm with ongoing renovations.
The hotel had a few drawbacks such as outdated rooms with a poor bathroom, but its location near attractions was handy. The service was lacking warmth and signage for amenities could be improved.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a beautiful view of the gardens and Wilshire Blvd, but could get a little noisy in the evening due to car traffic. The location is perfect for sightseeing and shopping, hosting prestigious events like the Emmys, but the 'Oasis building' might not live up to its name. The dining options are fair in price and quality, with a good variety and healthy choices available.
The hotel rooms were average and had a bit of a motel feel, but the service was friendly and efficient. The location was great for exploring Beverly Hills, with some nice amenities. The dining options were varied and of good quality. Value for money was decent overall.
The hotel has a view of the pool but needs proper renovation, especially the bathrooms. Despite the outdated rooms, I had a good sleep and enjoyed using the gym to fight jetlag. The service lacked friendliness, and finding amenities like the ice machine was a struggle.
The hotel had slightly nicer finishing in the rooms, which were clean but dated. Unfortunately, my room was in a different wing, and it took until my third day for the cleanliness issue to be addressed. The service lacked friendliness and could use some improvement, although the signs for amenities were confusing. On the positive side, the location was great for accessing Beverly Hills and exploring LA, especially with the hotel's history and Hollywood charisma. The dining experience was exceptional but pricey, and the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel was modern, very clean, with a cool shower and a big TV, providing a comfortable stay. However, it had limited room options with only one big double bed and a roll-up.
The hotel offers average rooms that are spacious but lack cleanliness. Its location is perfect for exploring tourist spots, but evenings can be noisy. Dining options are delicious but come at an extra cost, and the facilities are decent.
